The site is being used 1) as a means for terrorists to post their gruesome videos and other deadly propaganda. And 2) it also is a vehicle for people to post illegal or damaging videos. It is getting out of control. How can it be changed or stopped?

Should it be removed completely? And how could that be done?
Or should it have certain restrictions? I think it is obvious that it can't go one as it is.

OK. I understand about freedom of speech, but don't you believe this saying: your are free to do what you want until your freedom takes away mine?
And, no, you can't tear up the constitution that is infantile. But isn't there some point where freedom of speech becomes insults?

1. No, they are an American company and are protected by the First Amendment of our Constitution. Thus it is pointless to think whether or not it should be removed, because that would be censorship and goes against everything our country stands for.
2. It could be done if our democratic government was overthrown and a dictator with a complete disregard for our constitution, wanted to censor them.
3.You tube does have restrictions in the form of a disclaimer that tells you when a video is not appropriate for children.
4.Yes it can go on as it is, nobody is forcing anybody to look at the videos and if people want to see them they will choose to do so on their own freewill. I personally do not think the government needs to protect me from 'seeing evil' things, I can do it myself.

The only truly 'deadly propaganda' --as in propaganda the leads to deaths-- is the propaganda and fearmongering that The Bush Administration uses to gain support for their 'War on Terror'.

All you have to do is tear up the constitution. Free speech necessarily covers speech some (and maybe most) people disagree with. It's exactly for that reason that we MUST have free speech. The citizens of the country must be allowed to express unpopular opinions without threat of law.

I understand where you're coming from and I've came up with a solution for people with the same questions as you. Where it says "Address" on your internet browser, now pay attention cuz this is the hard part. DO NOT TYPE in or anything that resembles "www.youtube.com" I know it's gonna be hard but with just follow these strict intructions and your life will blossom

I second Lou's opinion. The videos will be posted elsewhere if YouTube takes them down, or just re-posted on YouTube. It's the internet, how are they going to regulate millions of people at once? Just leave it be and count on people to watch what they will.

If you don't like what you see on YouTube, don't go there. Freedom of speech trumps censorship (almost) every time.
