Well, about the only way I can describe it is by breeding and hormones.

A rabbit hits puberty when it is about 3-5 months old. That would equate to about the ages of 13-17 in human years.

A rabbit is at good breeding age when it is about 8-10 months old. So that is about the age of newly weds. So say about 18-23 or so.

A rabbit will keep growing till it reaches about 10-12 months old.

Rabbits are considered babies until they are 6 months old. From then to a year they are considered young adults and over a year translates to adult. Your rabbit is pretty much finished growing size wise, but is still developing inside.

you are able to touch them at 3-4 days previous. you may desire to envision the nest incase there are any lifeless ones. in the previous you touch the nest, cope with the doe first and then get somebody else to hold her yet do no longer permit her see what you're doing, then rub the observed airborne dirt and dust and a few dropping from the hutch on your hands to hide your scent. attempt to no longer disturb the nest to lots. Gentley open the midsection of the nest and gentley %. up a infant. once you have checked all of them and positioned them back conceal the nest back over and positioned the doe back in. do no longer take to long the 1st time via fact the doe with grow to be under pressure.

Unless he's one of the big, big types, he's fully grown now... most domesticated bunnies live between 6-10 years.
