A sodomite calling themselves a Christian is an embarrasment to God. They can never be a Christian so long as they are gay because scripture forbids their perverse behaviors.

I think that Cliff Kincaid has a pretty extreme view of homosexuality and politics, but it's not really what I'd call "Mainstream". Most conservatives are fairly moderate on the issue and most would agree that Kincaid is pretty far off base on this one. So he has a voice. And an audience, apparently. On the other side, so does Michael Moore and the so-called "Truthers", who blame 9/11 on an inside job by the Bush Crime Family. We are all entitled to our opinions. Kincaid expressed his, you are expressing yours. Seems to be working.

If you are saying that homosexuality is sinful, are you then saying that if you sin at all, you can't be a Christian?

Christ taught us that we are all sinful, and that it is our nature. "For Truly I tell you, whosoever has comitted adultery in his mind has commited it in his heart"

Even though I don't believe that to be gay is wrong, your argument doesn't make sense even if it is. Christians include murderers, embezzelers, adulterers, and addicts, and prostitutes and taxpayers. Even if it is wrong to be gay, a agay man or woman can still believe in Christ and participate in worship.

Any attempt you make to ban a person from church who WANTS to be there is hypocrisy on you part, and you are letting your prejudice interfere with your ability to love and forgive your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Do you really think that openly gay ministers don't count? Do you think that all their sermons are lies? They have come to the conclusion that God makes us as we are, and I do not condone the interperetation of Paul's letter to the Romans as 'God Hates Fags'.

God doesn't hate. And even if it's ok to be gay in God's eyes, I'm sure we are all doing something wrong in His eyes that we aren't aware of.

Christians should all know not to focus on individual sins in others "judge not, lest ye be judged" but on the fact that we are all sinful, and all forgiven by God through His grace, and our faith.

I say there can be no such thing as a hateful Christian.

Yes. I am Gay and i practice Christianity. I am proud of who I am and what I believe in. Being gay doesn't always effect your beliefs. I have fallin in love with a person who has shown me so much of who I am and treats me with the most respect any PERSON could. I have been with men in the past but I have found that it doesn't matter what sex you are it matters to what kind of PERSON you are. Same goes for Christianity. I am proud of my religion and my beliefs. I don't walk into the house of God holding my wife's hand but I will sit next to her. I am there to worship him not her. So even though the bible (which was written by men) my not condone same sex relationship, I believe in my heart that if a prove to God that I am a true christian that he will understand my heart and who my heart loves!

I used to think like that, but no more..I'm straight, but have worked with and been friends with those who are gay or bisexual...I don't pretend to understand it, but I no longer "judge" it...(I am a Christian)...I simply can't grow distrust, hate or disgust for the gay community...The only complaint I can offer is that I have noticed that "some" openly gay folks tend to have a chip on their shoulder and an Axe to grind.....perhaps it's because they feel discriminated against...I don't know....

Sexuality and spirituality (notice I did NOT say religion) are not mutually exclusive. If you are gay and you have accepted Jesus as your saviour, you are a gay Christian. I'm pretty sure one of the cornerstones of Christianity is that anyone who wants to be one is welcome to join the fold.

And I think we can all agree that Bible verses aren't enough to change something so deeply rooted in a person's personality.

I am. You should try to be more open-minded. Like I have said time and time again, you are missing Jesus' true message. P.S., taking everything in the Bible literally is not a great idea.

I cannot come up with a single reason to be a Christian..Gay or Straight. Why would anyone want to live a life of hypocrisy? And you didn't offend me...in fact, by your screen name, you have my sympathy and condolences.

No if you are Christian and live by the Word then you wouldnt be homosexual. Of course its a choice! You cant be normal like everyone else, so you feel like you fit in with outsiders, because they dont live by strict moral values. I'm not perfect, no one is, but you do still have to try, and the only people who I truly have compassion for in this case are the people who are born into the wrong body. I do believe thats a disease and that it should be treated as such. Other than that we as a world should not loosen the moral binding so it includes more people with more views, some views and lifestyles are evil and disgraceful and morally corrupt. Lets all just stick to the Word, what do you say?

You seem to be attempting to Judge another's life which is forbidden and still call yourself Christian, who are YOU to question others against instructions that state otherwise.

You aren't any better than those that you question.
