Here is one I came up with after getting sick of everyone yelling about why we are in Iraq:
OK.
I have figured it out. We as the great superpower are in the Middle East because we are sick and tired of recycling and we want more sand so we can make more bottles.
Also, Figs... You know that wonderful fruit that's the center of the all popular "Fig-Newton"? Ya, we Figs are expensive. If we can corner the market / region on them, we are set.
Also, we are trying to eliminate global warming by culling the camel herd. Do you have any clue how much green house gas they emit. I mean the are like the "Hummers" of the Middle East.

not really sure what you are looking for, but if you want to develop a good "political rant", I suggest you review the video of the infamous "I Have A Scream" speech delivered by Presidential hopeful Howard Dean at the 2004 Iowa Caucus.

You want a good one, I'd say research the topic completely and write a nice long essay on it. I did that once -- the thing was twenty-two pages long.
If you just want to tirade, listen to any politician or celebrity give a speech a few times, and you'll learn everything you need.

Ask Dennis Miller it's his forte'. Personally I think politica rants are like temper tantrums-- they make a plash but usually draw much discord

take a popular person then tell an outright lie about them
then accuse them of being unAmerican
you will get many responses
I thought of another, say something negative about the US military troops, question their manhood
praise Al Quaeda, talk of their righteousness on 911
these will all get many responses

Use politically incorrect names for each of your opponents and don't give evidence to back up anything. Don't use logic or manners. That'll tick people off and they'll send back mean things to you.

How about getting to the bottom of the leakers like Bush does and fire them, when he is the head leaker.

Think of the most riduculous thing you can think of
Apply it to democrats
demand its true
squeal like a mentally ill freak that they are destroying America because of it
Now you can have your own FOX News show.
