2. Does the Universal Declaration of Human Rights serve any purpose even though it is not legally binding? Please explain your answer.

The first part I don't know, although it is a good bet that the US Constitution has nothing to do with it. As for the second part, there is some modest purpose: it presumably describes conditions to which one might reasonably aspire.

There is no formal Bill of Rights or Human Rights Declaration within the US. The Universal Human Rights is part of the pathway for International relations more then anything else, used as a set of standards for treating every ethnic group.

There is no formal International Bill/Declaration of Human Rights. There are several UN documents that together can be deemed to be such a document when read together.

The U.S Constitution is not among them, though it significantly affected how these UN documents were worded.
