I have thought about this for a long time, and I'm getting really curious. Anyways, here is my question. I haven't ever seen a guy have stretch marks. My brother shot up several inches in a matter of weeks, but never got any. I grew fairly slowly and I got them. Can guys actually get stretch marks,is it a genes thing? Or is it impossible?
If you could explain why guys don't get stretch marks [if they don't get them, that is], It'd be much appriciated.

men who gain weight rapidly do indeed get stretch marks. So your brother, who just grew taller would not necessarily get stretch marks, the skin grew with him as he increased in height.
But, those who gain more than thirty pounds in a year, do indeed get stretch marks.

we are going to I easily have stretch marks on my bum and somewhat decrease down onto my thighs and that i'm 12 it has actually ruined my lifestyles i do not opt to pass to the swimming pool any more desirable because all and sundry's going to work out then i go be seeing a lot of beaches this summer time very quickly I were given a sparkling bikini yet how an I going to look with stretch marks and what if someone i recognize sees me that i recognize that terrible oh yeah and shortly I. Yes, they absolutely do get stretch marks too, just usually in different places than we do. My ex had stretch marks over his back and on his arms from gaining weight.

yes. stretch marks come from stretched skin. like if a man was fatter and lost a lot of weight, or even some weight, stretch marks can appear. comes with weight loss, or muscle loss.

Yes the abosolutly can but I don't know why most do'n have them and us women get more. My boyfriend has stretch marks begind his knees and under his arms u can't really see them, u'll have to be 2 inches away to be able do notice them!

Certainly they can--my son grew rapidly and has stretch marks on his back, I know a couple of other guys that are tall that also have them..

yes... if they have gained a lot of weight suddenly ...the skin can only grow so fast and it's elasticity is only to a degree... as with women when the weight is loss the little marks appear... different skins types and ethnicity determine what degree and how much visibility there is...

Yes, my ex-spouse had them on his fat butt, so it's not impossible. I think the type of skin you have makes a difference. Just like some pregnant women get them worse than others and some not at all.

i got stretch marks. u get them if u lose or gain weight fast

i am a guy and recently i lost A LOT OF WEIGHT, so i have some stretch marks, slightly on my arms, but a lot on my legs, but none on my stomach, so thats my answer
