This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html

I have had cysts rupture before, but never to the extent you are talking about. My pain subsided in 2-3 days. I would make a follow up with your OB-GYN.. You need to find out why you are having cysts rupture and see what can be done about it. You could have endometriosis or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom (PCOS), which can be treated with meds. It could also be an ectopic pregnancy if the pain does not go away. I would get in to see your doc A.S.A.P.
Sometimes those E.R. guys don't really know what they are doing, especially when it comes to women's health. Did they do a sonogram? If the pain gets worse, get back to the ER right away!

A large cyst is more of a health risk because it can rupture, causing severe abdominal pain and sometimes bleeding. A large cyst may also twist and damage the blood supply to the ovary. These two uncommon situations require prompt surgery.
Sounds like you need to go see a doc ASAP and get this checked out again.

The pain will probably last for 1 week or more. You just have to be easy on yourself. This happened to my sister, she had surgery to remove it. The cyst ruptured in her ovary and she had to remove 80% of it. She also learned she had endometriosis, but she ignored the pain and this is what happened. It took her 3 to 4 weeks to recover, but she had surgery, you didn't, so it should be less time. This is the 2nd time I heard about a cyst rupturing. I guess you can take a pain killer, ibuprofen, or Alive. Ask your doctor.

I feel so bad for you. I had to be rushed to the ER in August while out of town for a conference and I was told then that I also had a cyst that burst. I was really sore the day it burst and the following day. I laid on a heating pad most of the day and by the 3rd day I felt better. I was still sore but the pain went down alot. I think if you aren't feeling better by tomorrow afternoon or Friday you might want to call your doc and see what they say.
Hope you feel better soon.

I understand. I have been there. It helps to put heat on your tummy. Try to keep it pretty warm and lay on your tummy. Reason; you can't feel presure and pain at the same time so laying on a heat pad on your belly will help to dull the pain. I have found that it takes a few days for the pain to go away. Drink lots of water and take Aleve.

hmmm, an ovarian cyst usually causes pain UNTIL it ruptures.
I would suggest not returning to the ER, and instead go see your doctor or gynecologist
