lets assume that boys get sexual urges from age 9-11 [the phenomenom of 'kisschase' etc]

if you send your son to an all-boys school, what is he supposed to do with those urges - kiss the other boys??

is this why all-boys schools have the reputation that they do?

who IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would send their son to one of these schools? i am struggling to understand the mentality behind it.

I'm not sure why people send their children to single sex schools
They are private schools and probably ofer a great education
So maybe the goal of the parent is not to isolate their child from the opposite gender, But its just a price to pay for a good education sometimes i guess
It doesn't mean they'll all turn out gay
They can still have contact with girls out of school
they aren't THAT isolated

Because boys and girls learn differently. And I do not want my 16 to 18 year old son or daughter acting on their sexual urges, much less my 9 - 11 year old.

I don't think that all boys school is that bad. I went to one for grades 9-12 and had the time of my life. Most of the time, it wasn't that bad, there was more than enough contact with girls before/after school that I really didn't miss them. During school I was mostly busy with class and stuff, but I'd just hang out with my guy friends and it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

The only thing that was weird about it was you sort of double life, because you hung out with exclusively guys for a while, then you hung out with girls for a completely different period of time of any particular day. As for turning people gay or weird **** like that, there really wasn't that much of it.

Believe it or not, kids went to school for hundreds of years without gratifying their sexual urges. They behaved themselves. Kids from 9 to 11 aren't supposed to be kissing. They should be playing with dolls and model planes, reading and playing sports. I am so sick of this society that sexualizes children at earlier and earlier ages.
Singles sex schools help shy kids to speak up. They remove the need to wear outrageous clothes and to act out. It's as simple as that.

We send children to school to learn, not for sexual entertainment/distractions.
