sry i never read them and i have to write a essay on them. were they funny for were they seriouse.

They were funny to the little kids. Or they should have been. When the teacher was reading them to me when I was young in the day, I always thought about the monsters coming to life and eating me! They were supposed to be good monsters, but I thought they looked a little scary. heehee

yes, they were funny. i believe they were writen for children, but they are fun for all ages. good luck on your essay.
