i want to raise money for red nose day and was thinking about trying to get shops to donate something such as a bottle of champagne or a manicure which arent majorly expensive and then holding a raffle with a 1st,2nd and 3rd prize and get people to pay a minimum of £1.50 for a ticket... what do you think????

make sure you tell them youre going to put all the shops names on the raffle tickets, posters and ads, that way theyll be getting a bit of free advertising and may be more willing to donate.

If you want to raise money for red nose day for that would be very benevelent of you and help the children in need. But the kids are getting enough money as it is and thats why the pensioners are not getting enough pension.

I don't give to charity. You don't know how much of it is stolen or goes on administartion.
I prefer to buy the homless guy a sandwich or pay a bill for an old folks home etc... Then I know 100% of my money got there and made a difference.
