OH SH!T..... YOU ASKED AND THIS IS A TRUE STORY. k it was halloween and we were stayin in the marriot world trade center. we took a night tour and went all over the city. and it was amazing. i was pretty young. i would say probably 11 or so. we got onto the subway to head back to the hotel. and it was pretty late too. after midnight at least. anyway my parents, my younger brother and me were the only ones on that car...... we were sitting directly in the middle just waiting for our stop. at one of the stops along the way two different gangs get on from both sides of the subway and start closing in on each other. (towards the middle where we were sitting) i hear tons of yelling and my dad has me in his arms and is covering my eyes. these two groups of men were pulling weapons on each other right there in front of us. just as sh!t was getting extreemly scary the subway stops and my parents grab me and my brother and haul off the subway. i remember when we got off we had no clue where we were. we were just all scared sh!tless and wanted out. TRUE STORY.

I ride them every day. There was this one guy panhandling playing a trumpet. Nobody gave him any money in the car I was riding in that day. When he gets to the end of the car he starts playing his trumpet as off tune as you can get and cursing everybody in the car. That was one of many interesting experiences I've had on the subway.

Yes. I loved them. Of course, that was back in '78.
It was the first time I had ever been on a subway. My best friend and I went to NYC on a college tour. We had a blast!

i comprehend the "exhilaration of in all threat getting caught" might properly be a brilliant rush, yet a Subway?? Yuck !! i won't be in a position to think of one sanitary place on a subway that i might desire any area of my touching. Germ Haven!!! Which Subway are you driving??

yes, i've been on them - not much though, so i've never had a really crazy experience, but my brother was on the subway around christmas, and some guy who was having some sort of drug trip apparently took off his pants and was sticking his *ss in some girl's face...
glad i wasn't there :)

No! Always wanted to visit NY! Did see a dead body in the Paris Metro subway system tho--nasty!

I live in NYC, so yes. Not every single day since our family has 2 cars, but once in every full moon.

Yes I've ridden them. No crazy experiences other than it smells like old urine.

yes! a million times! yes, I've seen alot on the subway. I love NY!! I miss NY!! now I'm homesick. :(
