Becase im really interested in the Titanic and every picture ive seen of the Bow Section and the Stern Section when it was
under water just the way they found it. And I look at the same size photagraph of the Titanic there sill not quite the right size and i measured the miles with my miletor on the photaraph bottom
theres still 400 miles missing so what happend to the middle? PLEASE ANSER!!!

Due to the construction amidships, as the bow took on water, and debris from the stern when it upended, the stresses caused the stern to separate approximately at the cargo hold/pool location.
This happened as the stern entered the water, it didn't apparently snap above water, as some survivor accounts claim. Currents caused the different sections to settle some distance apart.

It broke into two pieces, the stern and bow sections, but there is a debris field of thousands of little pieces spread out a hundred miles around the wreck on the ocean floor.

It's either two or more, if you go to the video store, you should be able to rent a vhs or dvd on the titanic, with actual pictures of people who went down in the water and took footage of it.
