im a 16 year old kid and i wanted to know if their was really anything that i could do to play video games and would get paid for it.

yes, read the book paid to play. i haven't read the whole book but so far it seems cool. the only thing is (i read this in gamepro) video game testing companys prob. won't hire you until you are 18 (because of M and AO games). have fun!

There are two ways...
1) Take a job, you ca either be a video game bug-tester, or write Startegy Guides(The official Strat. Guides are payed by the company to figure them out)
2) Take up an online game and sell high lvl characters
a) RuneScape-lvl 100+ get about 100-300 dollar per character
b) World of Warcraft-lvl 60 and 70- $15 dollars a month membership, but lvl 60's sell for $500 and lvl 70's sell for $700-800 depending on your equipment.

You can actually get paid for playing video games as a tester, but you have to play levels over and over to find bugs and glitches, and the pay is terrible. You cannot be paid to simply play video games like you would at home after school.

of course, you can get a job from a gaming company. you will probably play video games for the whole day. some beta testers get paid.

yes u actually can its called being a beta tester u get paid do edit make and test video games its really cool if i were a beta tester i would test Rockstar Games games like the gta series and manhunt

Yes. Don't expect it to be easy. For every gem you get paid playing you'll be forced to muddle through a lot of "Bomberman Zeros" and whatnot. Plus I've read that bug testing and the like can be very hard.
