The reason that I ask is that:

I saw one post something about Bush wasn't allowed to send IUD's to Iraq. I didn't know that birth control was an issue with the Iraqis.

I saw two claim that terrorist that allegedly flew flight 77 into the Pentagon had turned off the transponder and therefore made the jet invisible to radar. If that was true, we wouldn't need the technology involved in the stealth bomber to make it invisible, we could just turn off the transponder.

Interesting. So because a few Bush supporters appear unintelligent, you're wondering how many actually are lacking in mental capacity. I would say it's about the same percent as it is for those who DON'T support the president.

One among those who don't support the president thinks that a person actually has to be in the States in order to vote. I guess they don't know what absentee ballots are for. According to them, soldiers who are stationed overseas apparently can't vote. Neither can their family members.
These same type of people seem to think that the military is primarily liberal and Democrat (which, whether the left likes it or not, isn't true. Many liberals and Democrats serve, but it's still mostly Republicans.).
So you see, ignorance and stupidity run rampant on BOTH sides.

IQ is irrelevant, and does not denote actual intelligence. IQ is actually usually tested in children, and our IQ does not change from then. I've tested between 125 and 145, by the way.

Well if a jet is flying low enough they cant be tracked by radar anyway. And they depend upon the transponder. I have no idea if this was the case.
I see your point though. IUD's thats kinda funny.

I wouldn't normally consider myself a 'Bush supporter' , as I have issues with some of his policies. But I do support some of them, and with the rabid haters around here I end up finding myself defending some Bush policies even though he is not my favorite president.

As far as IQ, well I haven't had any official tests in quite a long time but of those unofficial ones, I test between 135-145 generally and passed the Mensa sample test.

Probably the same percentage of people who believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy. Turning off the transponder of an airplane makes it harder to identify, but it is still visible on radar. As far as the IUDs are concerned, can you state your source? Or is it another crackpot type?

I'm sure you could find countless studies online that will give you some bogus % if that's what you're looking for. I'm a Bush supporter and I would gladly test my intellectual mettle against anybody on the left. Not to toot my own horn of course.

But ultimately, the cold hard truth is that there are idiots on both sides.

Nearly all of them.

Though a few smarter people might support Bush they are by far a tiny minority and most have ulterior motives for their support.

At a regional gathering of Mensa I attended last summer with 42 Mensans of all ages from different parts of the country, we took an informal poll by show of hands of who supported Bush. 39 opposed him, only 3 said they supported him.

IQ has nothing to do with it, the core of conservatism (that most of the time draws back to a mean father) that makes the conservative fallow father figures instead of representatives. They will stand by the father figure or leader and attack any evidence that might proof guilt which would weaken the image of the decider as strong.

That would be tough to find out, but my IQ is 139. Remember that not all people are accurate representations of a group they may belong to.

Maybe 3%. Smart people usually figure out that lower taxes are better for the USA.

There are some Bush supporters who have no IQ at all. A chimpanzee could run circles around them without even moving.
