Has anyone ever made the absurd suggestion to you that you need to eat more vegetables?

Yes.

I have family in Florida that are on one of those fad diets...called the Hallelujah diet...seriously.
They are basically vegetarians, that go for all organic stuff. Add to that drinking 2 8oz glasses of pure carrot juice with barley in it per day. My cousin, the mom and enforcer behind this, is a bit nuts about it. She thinks that by doing this they will live...like til their 200 or something. She thinks this is a cure all for everything. She will not let her children get vaccinations. Because the veggies will cure the pox..... again seriously....
They also, oddly resemble aliens. Way too skinny, and short, with weird pot bellies.

And she tells me everytime I see her...that I look unhealthy...and need to go on their diet.

Uh...no thanks.

I'm afraid I'm the one who always makes that absurd suggestion but if you don't you'll go blind (or is that something else).

This is actually one of the really pretty good ideas for improving one's health. There is a lot of research that indicates it actually helps many people.

They have but they are right. I like eating vegies but apart from potato and corn, that's all my family will eat.
