It shouldn't affect the X-Men much at all, except that it would limit their ability to interact with other hero groups (the groups that are still around and aligned with the government after the Civil War has ended). The X-Men are already considered to be a rogue operation by the government, so the pro-registration side winning the war would only lead to the X-Men continuing to be wanted criminals.

They will just leave the country again (go back to Australia maybe, or Muir Island). It's not like they haven't done it before.

i havent got that far in my stack of comics yet and the x men are way over rated
