Nature undoubtedly came before science. Science most likely came around about 1000 years after fire was discovered (not a real fact, but it probably did come a great time after the discovery). In fact even the first writings were the Sumerians (who used cuneiform and was developed between the 3500BCE-1800BCE) so I'm guessing that science couldn't have been that far away from that time. Plus in 6000 BCE (Before Common Era) there was the invention of the potter's wheel. 300years before that was the first domestication of animals, such as sheep.
Plus, most of the greatest scientific advances were made by the Greeks, some of whom were philosophers, engineers, etc. Even in Rome, enslaved Greeks were used to teach the children of the Roman people.

Um... nature was around for a few billion years on Earth before science started here.
In some things science is certainly better than nature. Can "nature" carry a few tons into orbit? No
Can science create a brain? No
It's all relative.

yup, but Nature is darker?, as when you think about it, at night try to keep that little light that in my book I call Intelligence, with that you can light up, your mind, and not only your Imagination, and if you make an effort, such darkness is because your are thinking to hard in something to absorbent-ed for you yet, you have to begin with some more abstract thinking, and don't try to define any forms, just observed the hues, don't try to define color either. There is that little thing inside your head that is known as Brain matter, you has to light-it-up.
