It has nothing to do with age.

It depends on his height and weight.

It also depends on what article of clothing is involved.

What do you mean normally wear, all people (including kids) are bulty differently...are you worried that he is over or under weight? I have an 11 year old so I have no idea what size he will be wearing in 4 years..If this boy is your son, you should know, if it's for a gift or whatnot, he's to the age that clothes aren't a good gift..I need more info..

My son is 14, a freshman in high school. He wears a men's medium. Waist is 30" and length is 31" and weighs around 140. He is very slim and active in many sports Many of his friends are suddenly taller than he is! I do see many boys shorter than he is, too. If your son is significantly shorter or heavier just speak to his doctor. They are your best source for comparison. What matters most is their total BMI.
