You say this has been fun, but I realize now that i'm not ready for a serious relationship. I really want to be single again and you deserve to know that so you can find someone else.

I had the same problem!!
I found a solution that was alittle cruel but worked.
Everytime this guy would tell me about his favorite things to do I would give him a very stern look and put down whatever he had just said. It also helps to say you are crazy in love with some actor who is the exact physical oppsite of him.
After awhile he started to realize how little we had in common.

Just tell him how you feel (the truth). And if he keeps on following you or stocking you or something get a restraining order.

tell him you don't want to see him anymore and if it keeps up restraining orders are easy to get
