I think that they are 97 or 98% if I am not mistaking... nothing ever 100% unless you just dont do it....

Every birth control method has a failure rate. The pull out method is about 99% INeffective. The rest including condoms are around 5%. So 5 out of 100 women who used a condom regularly will end up pregnant. The rate is higher for young and inexperienced girls. Apparently that's you. Get on another form of birth control such as The Pill. Also use a condom. By combining the two the failure rate is around 3 in 1000. The most effective method is the aspirin method. Take one aspirin and put it between your knees.

Many will say that when used correctly they are 99% effective. However I had unprotected sex for a very long time as a teen. I never got pregnant. As a matter of fact i was starting to wonder if i could get pregnant at all. Then my partner and i used a condom. We followed all directions and there were no holes in it. 6 weeks later i found out i was pregnant with my son. I don't feel condoms are very effective at all and they can't be trusted.

Like most people said, their 85 to 99% effective. But, that's only if used correctly. You should always use 2 methods just to be safe.

Read the box... it's anywhere from 85-99%

They are a barrior method though so the margin for error is HUGE.

Only about 85% if used alone. Better with spermicide. Best if you don't have vaginal sex at all.
If you are going to have sex with a regular partner, you should look into an IUD, the patch, or going on the pill.
Sex makes babies...bottom line. Be responsible.
