You sound like an hour glass to me...bet you're cute. Just be careful as you get older, your metabolism will slow. Make sure you're eating right and exercising.

Well hun, I am 5'3 as well (19 yrs old btw) and my heaviest was 142 lbs. That was a little less than a year ago and I really wasn't happy with myself. I now am 125 and feel alot better. You BMI does suggest that you are overweight but I think more importantly you need to see how you feel about yourself. If your happy then it's all good. If you look at yourself and are not happy then you should do something about it. I was uphappy for the longest time at just 140 and I had so much trouble losing any weight. But I finally found something that worked for me. If you wanna talk or have any questions, send me an email at rclements_19@hotmail.com. I'd love to help!

you are very hourglass shaped- that's good. But you are kinda "vertically challenged" :) I am too so it's okay- but your weight is a little on the heavier side. If you are self-conscious of your figure eat 6 small meals a day- drink 8 glasses of water and take a 30 min walk b4 lunch. That will help your body burn more fat and use what you are eating more efficiently. What you eat has more of an affect on your body than excersise.

Muscle tone is what sculps your body. If you want your waist to look smaller then you can work on your shoulders and abs. If you want a bigger bootie than you can do squats. Anyways- if you are unhappy there are many many things you can do. If you ARE happy then don't sweat it- eat healthy and excersise and don't worry about what other people say.

Your really not that big your fine.

If your unhappy with the way you look just eat healthier. You don't need to go on a diet at such a young age. Stay away from juckfood and go for healthy stuff. Eat a little juckfood only on saturdays lol thats your treat for the week when you have done good.

Excersice. Go skating with your friends. Party have fun and be with your friends to have fun with.

I think you look fine but its up to you how you think you look.
Best of luck

A BMI of 28.4 falls within the clinically overweight range, according to the U.S. Expert Panel on the Identification, Evaluation, and Treatment of Overweight and Obesity in Adults. However, see your doctor to confirm that this result really does apply to you before deciding that you are, in fact, overweight.

Among people aged 20-74 in the United States, nearly 40% of men and 25% of women have a BMI in this range. If you have no other risk factors, a BMI in this range puts you at somewhat increased risk for diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke, gallbladder disease, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea and respiratory problems, and certain types of cancer (endometrial, breast, prostate, and colon). Check with your doctor to see if you should lower your health risk by losing weight, or by maintaining your weight without gaining more.

If you have excess abdominal fat, your risk for the above diseases and other disorders related to obesity rises, from "increased" to "high." You can improve your risk by losing weight, even if it's only a few pounds at first. Or, begin by first making sure you don't gain more weight, before trying to lose weight. See your doctor for more specific recommendations.

Focus on a healthy, well-rounded diet and regular physical exercise (as appropriate) as your best strategy for losing or maintaining your weight, and you'll definitely be rewarded with a healthier outlook for the future! See your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.

I'm more worried about your health when your healthy you are looking good
