Some things are ok...I don't use anything fresh (like dairy and meat) or medicine after the use by date. But some things are ok like dry stuff (paste, rice, etc). But I'd really only use it within a month past the use by date.

yes i do but it all depends what you can get by with alot after the date but like meds all depends what kind and how long. like milk i do cause you can tell if its bad but i never use stuff that could harm you way after the date

no. but last week I accidentally ate some 2 month old cookies. I returned them for a refund. they tasted like peanuts.
