Anywhere that's not "seat yourself"

I think Italian restaurants are the most romantic. Something about the warm bread, the chilled wine, the soft pasta . . .

Stay away from national chains, if you can afford to do so. Olive Garden, the Spaghetti Warehouse, etc. are in my mind, just a small step above taking your lady to Pizza Hut.

The main thing is to focus on your date. Remember, she's the only woman in the room-no looking at other women as they pass by. That's a real mood wrecker, even if you're in a 5 star restaurant.

Anything but a buffet no one wants to go out to eat and not be served it's just tacky and obviously no fast food not sure where you are located but am sure you have all the usual chain restaurants I have to warn you they will be super busy so go there if you don't mind spending half your night waiting for a table I think your best bet would be your favorite restaurant something cozy with good food and wine good luck

Somewhere al fresco? I find that very romantic, as long as there are no annoying insects around. Nothing too fine dining or too family restaurant because its hard to have a funny, romantic conversation in that environment. And have flowers at the table waiting! I love that.

i have been married for 6 years and i will tell you that no matter how fancy a resturaunt is, a woman always loves a meal cooked by her man. why not go and get some steaks or some chicken and cooke her a nice dinner, and if you are over 21 get a bottle of champane and a good flick, cook, eat, drink and cuddle up to a good movie

Stay away from anywhere that gives you your food in less than 5 minutes and offers you an upgrade to the size of your side dishes.

It would have helped if you gave some indiaction of where you are.

Take her to a nice place (it doesn't have to be expensive). Just good food and good atmosphere.

A place like Sizzler's or Applebee's should be only as a very last resort.

Cook her a romantic meal and spend time together away from the crowds and people selling roses.
