I just don't buy into the scare tactics. The earth is a gazillion years old with a core a gazllion degrees hot in a galaxy that we barely know anything about. The earth has gone through ice-ages, and a recent "little ice age," yet we're suppose to think that green gases are gonna destroy our planet in a 100 years. The believe this because the temp has increased about a degree since the early 1900s.

Ummmm, I just don't buy into this from angry Al.

This is just like back in the 60 - 70s allot of people were running around saying that we were going to freeze to death in another ice age and the other was FOOD - the worlds population was growing so fast that even if we started to take action now it was to late people by the millions would starve to death because of food shortages. I think many of those same people are doing the same thing now a days the sky is falling the sky is falling. So on globe warming - what if!!! here goes Yellowstone every 750,000 years blows its top big time and when it does this the earth goes into a new ice age from the sun being blocked out from all of the ash in the upper atmosphere. After things get back to normal so to speak once the earth starts it's warming trend over the ages. Now guess what we are overdue for the next super eruption. JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.

well, do some research, it is true - we are overdue for an ice age, and instead have been warming the planet, to the extent that even those who are trying to turn a blind eye are being assaulted with weather so drastic that even you will be forced to believe all the scientists and evidence. Any attempt to refute something so obvious only makes people look stupid.

LMFAO! Why do you cons think that all global warming information comes fromGore and didnt exist before him?

The reality is that the majority of the world's scientists say GW is real, man made and the time for debate is over and the time for action is now.

I know you cons have a habit of ignoring threats and pretending threats arent real, but you're dead wrong on this one... as you cons are dead wrong on just about everything.

Opinion is meaningless on global warming. Only empiricle evidence has value and the evidence doesnt POINT to GW it proves it undeniably.

No I don,t by it.Even if they are not lying to us,what are the negatives. The oceans will rise 30 inches, the frozen land in the north could become farm land .Less people will freeze to death. The increase in temperature does not necessarily effect rain fall the wettest places on Earth are the warmest year round. SONNY- BAR you are wrong, and liberals are the ones ignoring things. At least important things like terrorism.

The weather is approaching the way it was when the Vikings went to greenland, it will warm up for a few years/hundred or so, then cool off. I think anyone that thinks we are gonna stop the sun from doing most of this is a loon.

We are wasteful and give little or no thought to the world around us when we overuse energy. It just makes sense we should not use so much. The argument over whether or not doomsday is around the corner rages on....
