Hummm...
what does softball and dodgeball have in common?
I play in a dodgeball tournament every month through out the winter for a total of 7. It's the most fun I've had in a long time.
In the summer I also play on a womens national softball team out of Chicago IL. Last year took 3rd in the nation.
Any how, back on to dodgeball..... here are some names that I've run a-acrossed that might be appropiate for your youngsters.
Little hitters or heavy hitters
balls out
dodge this
pudd pounders
high ballers
the dippers
"dodgers"

I coach an 11 year old boys soccer team. Anyway I like the Orange Crush for a team name. You can also leave out the word orange and just call yourself the Orioles. This will help you out with a logo if you, the coach, or some of the parents ever decide to get shirts, stickers, or car decals for the team in the future.

Trojanettes, Krush, Warriors, (this one's hysterical:Fighting Irish, an actual team's name!) Warhawks, Tigers, Panthers, Knights, Eagles, Cavaliers, Cougars, Lions, Spartans. These are some of the most popular names for Basketball in the Ozarks, but they can be used for dodgeball as well! :)
