what the republicans plan is?

NO! we dont even want a simple non binding vote, because it makes us accountable. In 6 years we havent had to be accountable, and we dont want to say yea or nea.
So what we want to do is put the ball in Democrats hands. Give us a better plan, they yell, ..
so We can point the finger at you in next election for being non supportive.

Do you think there plan will work?

Its funny how Wing shares the same opinion as too many people.
Democrats just bring up a new plan -- when 52 new plans were brought up so far, but the republicans shot them down.
52 attempts!!!

And Wing apparently doesnt know how the political game works.
Republicans want to get reelected, as do the democrats,so they have to appear to do what the majority of their constituents would want them to do.

I agree Dems can do more. AND THEY WILL you watch. It just takes time, and not as easy as republicans want to make it seem they should.
Change is near.

yeah bereal..give them the troops the money. Well they shouldnt need any money for anythign after 2 trillion dollars have been spent on the war shoudl they?
Shows gross mismanagement of funds. What do you expect when republicans had no contest bids, and gave billions and trillions of tax payers dollars away with no accountability

It might--a lot of their other stupid plans have worked.

What's worse? The president is saying that he wants the NEXT congressional debate to be either getting permission to send emergency funds to the troops just in case OR accepting that congress doesn't support the troops. He's doing everything he can to force the Democrats to cut funding in order to have some control over this out-of-control War, so that he can then accuse them of a lack of patriotism.

What chance does any republican stand if this abomination is still active when the elections roll around? President Bush would have completely defeated the republican party by himself. All the politicians who keep supporting the President run the danger of destroying any chance for future political aspirations by being seen as warmongers. I think they have defeated themselves and are now starting to be viewed as obstructionists.

All the Democrats have to do is "grow" a pair and do what they have been spewing about all this time and defund the war. They keep screaming about the war but never, ever come up with a plan...ever! You don't have to wait for the next election to point at them for not supporting, they don't know, they hate it, every war in existence! Instead of puking up the same old liberal mantra come up with a solution and let you elected officials know of it!

Seems to me the Democrats are the ones "posturing".... The Republican plan is to make the Democrats actually make a decision...Republicans haven't changed, give the troops the $$ they Need ....period.
