Japan invaded China in July of 1937, beginning the Pacific portion of WWII.

The U.S. did not enter WWII until after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

There was nothing called WWII to enter. Hostilities against the US started after they bombed pearl harbor. Why not look up 'world war II' in wikipedia.com instead of having us do your research for you?

Japan attacked manchuria in 1931, out of all the participants of WW2 japan had been fighting the longest. They joined the axis powers (germany and italy) in 1940. Go to history.com to lookup anything in regards to history.
