if it's true, explain to me why i'm freezing my ying-yang off and just had to scrape a half inch of ice off my truck!

The earth naturally heats up and cools down in long cycles. It would go through these cycles even if humans didn't exist. I believe in being environmentally responsible but I don't feel that humans are the main cause of the slight rise in the global temperature (one degree in 100 years).

Global warming does not mean that EVERY part of the planet will instantly be warmer ALL of the time.
This is one of the falicies being perpetrated by leaders with agendas.
The truth is that with global warming come new "extremes" on both sides. The pattern of warming is that ice is melting and with that new flows of cool air are produced bringing extremely icey weather to places that had not seen such cold before.
These cold extremes are expected to be significant at first.. and then they are expected to either subside or cease altogether.. once the ice caps have gone and no longer can produce the cold ice flows that are currently causing you to freeze your ying yangs..
Once that happens, then we may well never see that kind of freeze again.. and you might see that whilst now New York is burried under record snow now.. that in 5 years.. you'll suddenly find yourself sunbaking in the same season.. in ten years.. New york may never see snow again..
The science of atmoshphere is still relatively undiscovered and this phase of global warming is going ot teach humanity to stop messing with nature..
So yeah.. enjoy the feeze now.. coz in a few years.. you might be begging for it..
You'll know global warming has taken hold when you see increased number of tornadoes.. increased power and size.. vastly increased wind speeds and damage caused by winds and gales.. and rising seas and increased storm surges.. THESE are ALL symptoms of global warming.. The increased wind speeds alone.. could reaphavoc in just the next 20 years..
If you do a bit of scientific homework instead of being trivial like most people.. you will find that the planets atmosphere is some 6 degrees celcius higher than it was 50 years ago.. on average.. sea levels are rising at an increasing rate.. with reports showing massive divergence.. some claiming seas will rise 10cm in 100 years.. where other scientific studys have shown that seas may rise 2 meters in the next 10 years alone..
Well.. in the South Pacific.. there is a number of islands that 50 years ago were inhabited and now lie under the sea!! to them seas have already risen well over 2 meters in a few years.. and even in Tonga now.. waves sometimes crash onto sealed roads during storms..
So in conclusion.. you need to stop being VERY ignorant.. you need to take your blinkers off.. you need to do some research.. sell your car.. learn to ride a pushbike.. stop using so many usueless luxuries.. and most importantly.. pray that its not to late.. because mother nature has no mercy.

Well explain to me why down here on the Gulf Coast we are experiencing more horrific hurricanes.and the north is experiencing more melt down? i.e. polar bears, etc. Don't know where you are but just read up on meteorlogical results. Has nothing to do with you freezing your ying yang..it has to do with the overall global situation.

Personally I think it is a joke. The overall temps may be warming up but hey! The ice age is still going away! That is all! If the earth was a big swamp before the ice age, why won't it go back to one?
