Palaeoanthropological excavations at Petralona from the anthopologist Aris Poulianos found a Skull of Archantropus in Greece that dates 700.000 BC. The skull has been dated to be at least 700,000 years old by two German scientists, anthropologist E. Breitinger and palaeontologist O. Sickenberg. Poulianos has claimed that this discovery renders the Indo-European theory obsolete.
And that was not an ape!
However, the skull has disappeared. Because some secret agents went to the University labs and got it from there to uknown destination. Nobody knows where it is now. In the same way, they try to hide the artifacts from past civilizations that some archeologists have found. Like human giant bones! that were excavated recently in Greece. They don't want us to know! They want us to live in the dark.

There were quite a few numbers of theories to prove there were no humans on earth (in the beginning?) The Atomists' viewpoint for example, held that man is the result of the mingling of atoms just as was a tree, animal, stars or anything else. Heraclitus believed that man is part and/or emerged from universal fire and is subject to the law of the universe. Together with Heraclitus, Empedocles believed man emerged from mingling of fire, water, air , and earth. They all contend to the Sophists' viewpoint that man is the center of the universe, the overseer of the subjected rules of the universe. I believe there are more theories to prove that there were no humans on earth (in the beginning of creation, if this what you're trying to arrive at, otherwise I am then, totally wrong with my answer).

Define proof. Do you mean 100% with no doubt? No such thing.
We can only show that human remains have only been around for about 100,000 years and before that are human-like remains. So we assume that there were no "humans" before a few million years ago (depending on when you want to call us human)
