You mean rookie of the year? They already have. Tennesse Titans Quarterback Vince Young was picked as the 2006-2007 season offensive rookie of the year, beating out, among others, Marques Colston, Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush (who beat Young, actually), Joseph Addai, DeAngelo Williams, and Laurence Maroney.
Defensive rookie of the year was Houston Texans 2nd-round draft pick LB DeMeco Ryans, beating out, among others, AJ Hawk, Ernie Sims, Mark Anderson, Elvis Dumervil, Mario Williams, and Haloti Ngata.
***EDIT: Tashia Saints... the RoY is not about which team goes farthest, plus VY is a QB, plus look how bad they were with Collins... if they had beaten the Patriots in the last game of the regular season, they would've made the playoffs... Addai split his role with Rhodes, so he is not Rookie of the Year. Hester was special teams... I don't care how good the kid is on ST, an ST guy cannot win RoY. And Bush... he was good enough that if he had not been so hyped up, he probably would've won. However, all the hype, in addition to not really having a main role (HB, WR, KR... moving everywhere!) really hurt him.

Rookie of the year should have been Reggie Bush, Devon Hester or Joseph Addai...they went the farthest with their teams...Vince Young really hasn't done much of alot..yeah sure he is good, not taking his skills away, but his team didn't make the playoffs, so how the heck can he be rookie of the year...Addai(superbowl champ) Hester (NFC champ) Bush, not only has he set a few records, but he has also made many contributions to the city of new orleans....you see what i mean, even if you say not Reggie bush, then at least you can agree with either Addai, or Hester!!!!!

Reggie Bush or Marques Colsten. (Saints picked the cream of the crop in the draft last year). Vince Young won it i think though... well deserved though.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH U PEOPLE WHATS ALL THIS CRAP WITH JONES DREW THIS HESTER THAT.
