Let's see: Flowers: $20-40.00, Chocolates: Maybe 10-15. Okay so that's about 35 to 55 dollars. If you do anything because of the "gifts" consider the amount spent. If you do anything because of the sentiment consider the costs. But if you do anything because of the equal exchange of feelings then any "reward" is priceless.

How about instead of rewarding him for giving you gifts you treat him nicely all the time. Instead of threatening that "he'd better get me something nice for Valentines Day or I'm gonna be such a b*tch to him" ( I'm sorry I didn't mean you. My best-friends just being such an a**hole to her boyfriend about this stupid holiday)
Hey, if you have bad knees you could always take some dirty pics of yourself and send them to him one at a time throughout a 1 or 2 month period. That's the gift that keeps on giving.

A man who truly loves does not anticipate a "reward" for some small token of his feelings. You would not have received the gifts in the first place had he thought you did not already warrant them. Still, a peck on the cheek would be nice...

Nothing at all, those things are just "normal" things.... why not be imaginative, give something not normal, like a pineapple, or something exotic, I just hate the chocolate and flower thing!

You know, the dolly with wheels that auto mechanics lay on to roll under the car?
