My mom died years ago but if she would have called me and told me she was dying I would be very upset. I was actually living with my mom who was dying of cancer at the time. She died 4 days after I had given birth to my daughter.

without seeing the subtext - i was about to say - she or my dad would be dieing cos they nave call cos its too expensive for them.
it would be sad

I would be upset and start crying. Then I would go see her and stay with her for as long as possible.
