I washed a pocket calculator under warm water (to get the sticky crud under the buttons off) and after a energetic shaking off and leaving on my own to dry for some days - at an attitude so water could escape - the calculator worked lower back. So, water does not continually pooch electronics previous use. save the battery out, open the umd door (yet preserve from airborne dirt and dust), and place it upright (or upside-down) in a secure place for some days. it may in basic terms artwork lower back. yet PSP's are lots extra complicated than a $5.00 calculator. solid success!

Um well the best advice is to let it sit for a couple days to dry out the water first! i dropped my GBA in the toilet and it still works perfect to this day! If it is permanentally having problems after that than it is broken and you could either get it repaired, sell it on ebay, or get/or/save up some money and buy a new one!
