I was at that game last night. Not that it matters, but anyway, there were some bad calls like any game and Selanne should have kept his mouth shut. He's a veteran and should know better, let the coaches argue with the refs. I am an Av's fan too.

That whole series of events was hilarious. Selanne was upset with the missed delay of game call when the puck was clearly shot over the glass without touching someone. Problem I have is Selanne doesnt wear a C or an A on his chest therefore he shouldnt be flapping his yap. He cost his team an important faceoff and then his team any chance of a comeback by taking the 2 minute bench and then a 10 on top of it. It wouldnt of matter anyways though cause Budaj was in the zone.

who know the Fin could get so upset eh?
With that being said, was Selanne out of line, yes. He did get too fired up over a bad call that wasen't going to be changed or fixed no matter what he said.
however!
The ref who droped the puck was also way out of line. Its the ref's job to ensure a fair face off. Selanne was obviously not ready to take the draw because he was still going off. What should of happened is that Selanne should of gotten the 2 min penalty right then and there before droping the puck.

Selanne is a big cry baby-always has been. You have a certain amount of time to get into the faceoff circle-the puck can be dropped even if there are no players there. Selanne knows that-he was just upset at the fact they were losing again.

The Ref is always right....
No matter how wrong he is
I agree the refereeing this season has been the worse ever,
but arguing with a ref is like beating your head against the wall,
You'll never win and a veteran like Selanne should know that
Maybe there's too much refereeing going on because there's too many refs in the game
Another gift from Gary

Selanne was definently out of line, he should know better that you don't argue with a ref. The Av's also had plenty of bad calls as well.
I saw the game and sure enough one ref was making all the calls, but that's not Colorado's problem.
Your beef should be with the linesman who won't speak up.

when selanne got the game misconduct, i was laughing because the refs missed the delay of game penalty against the avs that selanne was trying to point out. i 'm a avs fan and i have selanne on one of my fantasy teams. it's nice to see teemu contributing penalty because recently he's been held off the scoring sheet

Refs got the right to drop the puck whenever they feel like. No rule stating both have to be ready. He shouldn't complain as much seeing as he's a veteran and should know to move on, they won't change their mind. There was some bad calls. But I do remember Anaheim getting a few bad calls also.

The ref is stupid. Selanne is great and i love him! =] He's a great roll model and comes to every game trying 110%.
