I was once asked by a teenager,
caught in the midst of angst,
if life was worth all the grief and pain,
the sorrow and suffering.

I thought for a bit
and found I had but one reply
to the question.
A resounding, yes.
It was worth all the turmoil and trouble
to make the trip.

I had learned so much
and seen even more.
Life is so diverse and full of joy
that I would be sorry to leave it
as I must.
The experiences I have had
and the pleasures I have found
has made life a journey
that I could not miss.

So, yes!
It is worth it all
to walk life’s path
regardless where it takes you.
You can be sure
it would be somewhere
you would otherwise,
have missed.

Life is beautiful because it is always changing. Even at the worse moments, one must remember that 'this to shall pass'. That it can't always rain. It took my a long time to learn this and once I did, I became a much happier individual. Change is beautiful and Life is ever changing.
