On my iPod, there are corrupt song files that are preventing my iPod from restoring. Yes, I have used Limewire [they don't have half of the songs I want in iTunes], so I was curious to know if I purchased a program like Norton, or Norton, if it would search for the corrupt song files so that I can delete them from my iPod. I have been doing this all morning, but I have to restart my computer for each song, and it would take days and I can't imagine my computer wouldn't be fried by then. Are there any programs to help me with this problem? Taking it back to the Mac store is a last resort.

Thanks!

No, sorry, Norton Anti-V is a anti-virus program...Corrupt songs are a totally different thing, its not a virus. Anyway, I dont have an Ipod, but with my Creative Zen M, it has a clean-up feature, which means it could find and fix corrupted files....
Good Luck, I guess youll have to clean them out yourself.....

I am not aware of Norton Anti Virus being able to find corrupt files. Only files that have viruses in them.
