Do you care to explain what Valentine's day falling in the middle of Black History month tells you??Valentine's day has been around for a long time, Black History month has been around for maybe 10-15years. I love Black History Month because that community is so proud of who they are and they show it this month more than ever with exibihitions and special events.

You've got it backwards...Valentine's Day has been around MUCH longer than Black History Month, so Black History Month actually falls over Valentine's Day.

I don't even understand what you are saying. How are Valentine's and Black History Month related? President's Day is also in Feburary. Are you going to say something about that too? Stop being ignorant and just trying to stir up trouble.

Black background Month grew to become into initially began as Black background Week via Dr. Carter Woodson in 1926. He purposely began the attractiveness month interior the 2nd week in February via fact it fell interior the midst of Abraham Lincoln's Birthday and Frederick Douglas' Birthday. the attractiveness did no longer truthfully grow to be a month till 1976 whilst it grew to become into found out that recognizing all African American's had contributed could no longer be constrained to a minimum of one week. that's believed that Valentines Day grew to become into set in mid February to honor the time of the death of Saint Valentine, who grew to become into killed for secretly marrying human beings the church believed should not be married. the two Black background Month and Saint Valentines Day dates have been purposefully chosen out of appreciate and honor of people who lived in the previous us and tried to make this international a greater valuable, greater loving place for all.
