Disregarding the fact that we should take the war to the terrorists there and not allow the terrorists to coninue to grow in the world and follow us here to the U.S.A.? I don't want to go to the mall to get blown into pieces in the name of a god that justifies suicidal violence as the way to paradise!!!

The Democrats are right and I think every one would agree that getting out of Iraq is paramount. But how? The current administration has put the troops in a no win situation. If we leave then thousands will die in the conflict we started. If we leave the puppet democratic government will fall within a matter of hours. The small amount of Iraqis in the military and police will be killed very quickly. The Republicans also want out but they want to win an unwinible war. It is clear that what was done has mired us in war but what is the answer for getting out and not leaving Iraq worse off than it was?

I don't think we should allow politics to mess with good policy. Iraq is not pretty, but leaving there would be a total long lasting disaster. We can win this, but it will take courage. Keeping the terrorists occupied in Iraq and elsewhere takes away from the time they have to plan on ways to blow our assses up.

How is a terrorist in this day and age Post 9/11 going to successfully attack the US? You've got more of chance of being struck by lighting than killed by a terrorist and if you don't live in NY, Chicago, LA, Washington DC or San Francisco there is zero chance of you getting attacked by a terrorist. And I hate to break it to you but all the terrorists are not just in Iraq and Afghanistan. There are 1.3 billion Muslims all over the world & how's the US military going to stop all of them?

If you REALLY want to change peoples minds and make a difference, this isnt the way to do it. Now, people are just going to think you are an idiot, rather than take you seriously. Lead by example. Worry more about the weaknesses in your own life. Unless you beleive in re-incarnation, then you only get this one life. Dont waste it by getting your panties in a bunch and making a pathetic attempt to get people to agree with you. Either DO something about it, or shut up and move on with your life. First, the idea of 'pay for' a tax cut is stupid. What is the cost of not taxing people?
And yes, we should surrender to everyone, just like the French, all the time. We should change the US flag to plain white, and then let whatever moron dictator that gets here first tell us what to do. I am so damn tired of being responsible for my own life, and having freedom. Cant someone just do all my thinking for me????
