The duty to care rests with you - NOT the Government. The absolute number 1 person responsible for his or her financial responsibilities is you NOT the Government. We are not guaranteed anything in life or this country except the freedom to choose. If you have chosen unwisely then that is your fault. The number 1 problem with us in America is MATERIAL THINGS.
The only items necessary in life are these: 1 Wonderful woman, A warm fire in winter and a small shelter. Everything else is just stuff.

In a way, yes! However, it is not through my own volition. My government is making me hated throughout the entire world. They take my money and give it to other nations, just so the politicians can go around making like Santa.
Do away with the new nobility, which is our political institution called congress, and it would be better for all
Americans.
Just look at what we have spent in Iraq so far, about 400 billion dollars. that would be enough to pay off the national debt, put medicare back on it feet, and guarantee social security for another 100 years.

It sounds like you are talking to foreigners? Living in America eh?
I am American Native, of course I live here? That is the problem there aren't enough Americans! We are flooded with this disloyal bunch that hyphenate the name! I just told you to let you know why and where i would always be just like anyone else should do! Stay in their own country and improve it like we did eh?
Regardless what it is good, bad,or indifferent it is my country tis of thee, and God will not help the people that try to take it from us again ever! I will volunteer to go to the front lines to protect this country if they come on this soil again ever ( the enemy? ) No I am not a Liberal thank you I am an American!

In my opinion the best economic systems are blended socialisms which is exactly what the US has. Contrary to popular world belief there are tons of social programs including, medicare, medicaid, welfare, section 8 (for housing), multiple food card programs, farm aid, Unemployment, Social security, disability (easy to get with a corrupt doctor), plus scads of programs that give supplemental help for those with kids in need.

In spite of all of these programs I believe we are not entitled to have any of them but rather see them as a potential blessing for those in need and an enabler for those who abuse the system. In short if you are in need in American and are not crazy and or a drug addict, hindering your ability to find the help you need, then help is generally available.

No. As Americans, we can make choices and create our own destiny. Some may think everyone is against them, but your only fooling yourself if you believe that. A cop of what we do best, throwing the blame on someone else.
If you give up, yes one will say this. But deep down, we all know if you don't give up and thrive to make your best better,,,it will get better. Your in control of your life, no one else can make choices for you. You can give in to other's, but ultimately it's you making the final choice.
So what will be? Drive on to a better way of life? Or give in to the rat race and let it pass you by?
Choose wisely!

It should be you against everyone else, why do you think that the government has to provide for you? That's what YOU are supposed to do!

I believe it is me for myself and my family, which is as it should be. Nobody else is going to be as motivated as I am to take care of my family. And I believe that there is plenty of opportunity out there for me in this great country.

I believe it's the citizens against our own government. It is our own worst enemy. Too bad not everyone sees the light.

My employer cares plenty, and that is not a function of my government.

I sure do. It seems like everyone is "out to get" everyone else and not working together as Americans.
