Not really better, just different. It'll probably be a few years before they are contenders again cause it'll take a few years for the veteran starters to get used to and trust the new coach plus there will be some changes slight or otherwise to the style of the game the coaches play so we really won't see any really positive changes for a few years (which is why I don't understand the Dennis Green firing)

The new coaching staff is coming to a Super Bowl ready team. As long as he maintains the integrity of the defense. They should cause havoc in the AFC again. Even though Willie Parker is doing his job, they are still in search of a bruising running back. Hopefully then can get Lyndell White like they had originally intended.

Ben, Troy, and Hines will all be healthy too.

Cohwer was not hungry anymore and it was apparently obvious all season long.

This team is a Championship contender, it is pretty much still the same team from 2 years ago, ya they are getting older but so is every team! This team had many injuries and had very bad luck with turnovers, they could have easily have been 11 - 5 or better,
they will address there needs in the upcoming draft!

I don't have high expectations from them next season due to the changes, but they are a quality organization. They know how to win and get the most out of everybody. I think it will take a few years before they become contenders again.

They used to accuse Cowher of not being able to win the "big game" but he sure knew how to get his team there. His record speaks for itself.

I'm really going to miss that jaw . . .

no, the Steelers can't have more improvement under the new coach who is youngest coach.

It's really to soon to tell. When they enter the regular season and start playing some meaningful games than that question will be answered

No this season, but maybe in the long run. Cowher seems to be losing his edge. Maybe he just needs some time off.

no. Cowher won a superbowl with that team. remember that? these new coaches are very inexperienced right now, so they won't be making any sudden improvements next season.
