Why do a lot of shirts in manga have random english quarterly earnings reports?

Question

I've noticed from reading manga that sometimes characters have random shirts detailing earnings reports from some random engineering company, or some encyclopedia quote about global warning, or in general things that look like they were ripped from a random english source with no meaning. What's up with that?

or maybe they just can't think of anything else to put on the shirt
