Ovulation is when the egg is released from the ovary. It happens about 14 days before the next period comes. The egg lives for 6-24 hours. Ovulation is the time during a woman's cycle that she can get pregnant.

once a month, so many days before your period. You ovulate to get pregnant. how old are you? if your at least in your pre-teens you should know this. IF you are thinking about getting pregnant. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR YOU. VERY CONCERNED MOTHER!
