If you don't have the CD then there is not much you can do within the confines of the law to get it back without purchasing it.
Or you can get open office for free on the internet. Google Open office.

i in my view do not discover Vista properly worth dissimilar fuss over. It has impressive, gorgeous little useful aspects, yet i grow to be fairly satisfied with the regular of XP. for this reason, i does no longer bypass for Vista till you get an epic deal, or it is coated, which it is. i'm no longer conscious of the domicile correct type version of Vista. If it does contain an as a lot as date workplace (shoot for 2007), I see no reason in figuring out to purchase yet another reproduction as this basically isn't an improve. I personal workplace domicile and student 2007 and imagine that it is through some distance the most versatile workplace set I actually have ever laid fingers on for this reason some distance (it is alot!) i do not discover OneNote all that useful, besides the undeniable fact that my brother thinks it might properly be very functional. So when you're pondering figuring out to purchase the workplace, I say do it!

If the laptop came with it, then all you have to do is do a recover. This is the cheapest way. They have programs to do recovery but they run money. Just save all your important files to disk. Run the Recovery which will set it back to the original specifications out of the box, then reload your programs back and the MS Office will be back there too.
Now if perchance, you bought it, I hope you registered it. Then just email them and then they will be able to give you a key or something.
Now if you copied a bogus copy for whatever reason, then you would need to buy a recovery program from on line. But it might be cheaper to google "oem software" and buy an actual copy and perfectly legal, says the US Supreme Court. Bill Gates, eat your heart and pocketbook out.

Do you have the Reinstall Disks ?
I am not clear how you lost it.
But if you mean that the icons and other related things are gone, then either do a restore point, or reinstall the lot.

Just as an off-chance, check your recycle bin to make sure it hasn't ended up in there for some reason.
