I could breathe better it feels like there is something on my chest

Almost every night when I'm trying to get to sleep. It's supposed to be a trick, concentrate on your breathing and you'll get to sleep faster. But it just freaks me out. So I count sheep instead. See how that works?

actually... sometimes I can't breathe... to be more specific, it's like my body gets confused on whether it wants to swallow or breathe and I get stuck and can't breathe until I swallow and sometimes I actually get close to passing out... perverted sounding I know but it happens...

If I inhale, I'd have to exhale and vice versa. Too much work to do both, so the answer would be "no".

I did once and almost sufficated....they told me it was an automatic body response and I proved them wrong.
