Percentages are fun!

3.5 divided by 149 = .02348

.02348 is about 2.35% (Just move the decimal to the right two digits)

Good luck!

On one side of the paper write the lbs on the other side the percentage and do your math.

149 lbs is equals to 100%
3.5 lbs is equals to what???

Then multiply 3.5 * 100 and the result divide by 149. The result is already in percentage.

(3.5 lbs * 100%) / 149= 2.35% weight lost.

Hope this helps.

3.5/149=0.023489932 which is 2.3%

Percentages are just parts out of 100.

100% = 149
10 % = 14.9
so u can roughly guess its less than 10
Half of 10 % which is 5 is jus dividing 14.9 by 2 = 7.45

its about 2.5 % if weight lost

149-3.5=145.5

145.5/149=97.65%

100%-97.65%=2.35%
