Like cowboy said, check out the video, you see something "start" to come into the shot (doesn't look like a plane, looks like a missile) but then it cuts and you just suddenly see the building explode, you never see anything actually hit it.
EDIT:Give me all the thumbs down you want, I am not a conspiracy theorist, I am stating a fact, watch the video that our government released, it doesn't show anything hit the pentagon, and why was there only 1 video? A place like the pentagon should be crawling with surveillance cameras.
EDIT: Again at the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, someone asked about ID's found at the site, in Shanksville, the "plane" was disintegrated (except for bigger parts found in the nearby woods), not a drop of human blood was found, yet driver's licenses and other personal effects were coveniently found unharmed. I don't know what did happen but looks weird too me.

It's not restricted, it is a NO FLY ZONE. The story is that this plane flew up and down the Potomac looking for the White House and picked the Pentagon instead. How ridiculous is that? There are more military bases on the Eastern seaboard than anywhere else on earth.
I have read that it was a missile. The area around the Pentagon is very small and a commercial airliner of the type that supposedly hit it would have been noisier and damaged more of the area to get in close enough to hit the Pentagon.
There are several documentaries that explore the evidence after the attack.

They were not sure of the flights direct path. I'm not sure that they had the capability to shoot it before it hit the pentagon.
Shooting a civilian plane down by US military while on that day would have been understandable, would have been an enormous decision. That being said, DC is a lot of building, a lot of civilians on the ground. Foreign dignitaries and so on in a very tight space. They were never truly sure of the target until it was too late. Shooting it down in the air would also have created a great loss of life to those on the ground. Unfortunately, there was know RIGHT or WRONG way to handle that plane once the terrorists had taken control of it. I would hate to have been in the shoes of anyone making the decisions that day.
As far as shooting it down before it got there, I don't know that it was even an option. But if it had been, put yourself in the seat of an F15 or some other fighter jet, and look through the windows of that commercial airliner, with the faces of men women and children looking out the window at you, what would you do. Then look to the ground at the morning traffic. No matter what the answer, too many innocent lives are lost. Do you sacrifice the lives of the men and women at the pentagon, who have sworn to serve our nation, and give their all if necessary, or do you sacrifice the civilians on the ground. Just a thought to your scenary of being able to shoot it down first.
What matters most is that THOUSANDS of good men and women were murdered that day by a handful of zelots whose misguided beliefs caused them to slaughter in the name of a God who is a loving and forgiving God, not a murdering and conspiring God.
Oh, and "Hindsight being 20/20" we still don't have all the answers to be able to say for sure, that "_______ is absolutely how they should have handled that situation"

I think you have to back up a bit. The 8-10 years prior to that awful day, those who should be looking out for our safety and "we, the people" were too busy harrumphing about President Clintons sex life. Our investigative agencies, the CIA, FBI and others were busy dancing to the tune of the jerks in the House and the Senate trying to find some new accusation again Mr. Clinton.
If they had paid attention to the rest of the world and been vigilant; if our CIA and others had done what they were supposed to do - and our Immigration Service had done what they were supposed to do, 9/11 would never have happened.
How did they do it? Nobody was paying any attention except the air traffic controllers - and they couldn't get ahold of any government official or military person who could make any decisions. There was no chain of command; no emergency plan, no plan of action at all.
9/11 can be laid directly at the feet of our inept, self-serving government.

The blogbaba is not a conspiracy theorist. Unfortunately the blogbaba also served in a missile battalion when he was a soldier, so he has a pretty good idea of what a missile impact site looks like.
All plane crash sites have pieces of the plane scattered around.
Do you really believe justice applies to people who could pull off something like what happened on 9/11? Get real, they haven't caught JKF's killer, and they aren't gonna catch the guys who set the controlled detonations in the twin towers either. If you get close to the real truth, you will vanish.

They claimed that it disappeared from the radar in West Virginia near the Ohio border and then it didn't reappear until it was close to D.C.
It is impossible for it to fly over the Appalachian mountain range without appearing on the radar.
Also it had to be traveling at near mach I to travel the 400 miles from where it allegedly lost radar contact to get to the Pentagon in 41 minutes.

How does a fire start in a fire station?
You conspiracy folks are amusing. You're right it's all a big conspiracy. George Bush is going to get you. We live in a fascist country...but only fascist to the point where you can openly criticize the government.
If you really cared you'd take the time to research the issues. You do understand that the driving force behind all the 9/11 conspiracies is the American Free Press, which happens to be an ultra conservative publication.

If the plane was on the filed flight path, it never would have hit the Pentagon.
Besides, if you shoot a plane down over a city, where does the plane fall? Into an empty field? Or do you endanger thousands more by hitting it regardless of where it may fall?

The airplane can no longer conquer the Earth's gravity. yet enable us to think that the airplane is declared to a rocket, geared up and designed for area, it wont be a airplane yet an area return and forth. in case you connect a airplane to a rocket it won't stand the stress. And if it does it is going to flow too slowly in area, so it may no longer get everywhere.

Pretty Funny with 2 airports less than 15 miles away and a plane goes around 550 mph, lets see 15/550= .027 or way f@@king fast. sorry nobody expected that. And the Fact that Billy Clinton disarmed everything on every base within 2 hours of DC well there you have it. And for the guy that said no plane hit, can you explain where all the people that got on in Newark are now? and how their Luggage and drivers license's got to the pentagon?
