If you got a bad one is it better just to replace it?

I've been screwing around with a new snowblower,Sears Craftsman, for a month now. The service tech cant get it to stall out. I'm just going to buy a carburetor and install it myself.

it really is probably a stuck drift or the drift has cracked and filled up with gas or the needle valve and seat is worn or has some airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust in it. to describe a touch more desirable sensible, you recognize the drift in the tank of a bathroom? nicely a drift in a carb. works sorta an identical way. once you flush the water aspect drops and the drift drops and the valve opens and the water fills the tank decrease back up. because the tank fills up and the drift rises and or perhaps as the tank is finished the the valve closes and the water stops. In a carb the drift rises up and down because the engine makes use of the gas and in turn opens and closes the needle in to a seat. This retains the point of the gas at optimal for the operation of the engine. So if the drift is filled up it is going to sink causing the needle to go back off its seat and gas will only save filling up the drift bowl which will reason the gas to go back out of the carb. an identical will ensue if the needle and seat are the issue. i does no longer experience it till this example is resolved.

Most carbs today you can't adjust. Replacement carbs for older cars are a different story.
