sweet, i know what you mean. Just look around at stores where you can get flared pants. Sometimes they carry they really wide ones. I was lucky i use to wear my dads old bells to school all the time. A long shot could be to ask some older family members or friends. You would be surprised what they keep. If all else fails look for vintage sewing patterns for the late 60's and 70's. My mom still has lots for pants and peasant shirts and all the like. Happy hunting. Love everyday for what its worth.

Thrift shops are great! We don't have a whole lot of those around here, the best ones I've ever been to were in Richmond, VA---I was in heaven! I've noticed as far as the hippy 60's/70's shirts, Gadzooks has a ton of that sort of style(since they've started carrying Forever 21 clothes)--plus it's really inexpensive, so I've been spending a lot of time there lately. Good luck!

I found a poncho, a tie-dye shirt and a pair of bell bottoms at a small, private thrift store. I have also seen a lot of 60s-70s stuff at used clothing stores--they are usually with the costumes (people dress in them for theme parties).

Do you have Flea Markets where you live? Well, they are markets that are open on Saturday and Sunday...they have everything in the world. Thrift shops also have a lot of the stuff.

Edit: Also, try Wal-Mart. The one in my town has all sorts of vintage stuff...and it is cheap.
