It's several things.

People think black men have huge genitalia and therefore black women are more loose.

White guys approach a few black girls, get turned down, and assume all black women are that way.

There is an assumed culture barrier. I'm not sure exactly what the barriers are unless you believe white men are like X or black women are like Y and can't get along. I've dated many a white man and getting along is an a thing between individuals regardless of race. Well, I guess there is a cultural difference between how white men approach black women. They are too subtle and most black women are just not used to that. White guys have flirted with me in the past and it has taken me weeks or months to realize they were trying to make a move.

Some black women act downright offended when a white man approaches them. The idea they they only want some a** and have a fetish is alive and kicking. And what is so nasty about liking black women anyway??? Self-hate issues??? Some white guys are only after one thing, but so are plenty of blackmen, asian men, so forth and so on...Once again it's an individual thing rather than a racial one.

Dependng on location it can be rare to see black women and white men together. Some black women really do have a very strange (unrequited) allegiance to black men.

And there are a lot of brothas talking bad about sistas. They're loud, ugly, domineering (although I've met plenty of sweet black women)...well, you know the rest!

Some white men also believe to be with a black woman you must act or talk a certain why-thugged out! Anything less than that and you just can't date a black woman. Right?

Statically of Black men who marry only 7% practice miscegenation and only 5% are with White women. The statistics are lower among Black women. So my point is if 93%of Black men are marrying Black women why would I be concerned with the 7% that don't? And as you also mentioned the statistics are even lower among Black women. I'm for the preservation and promotion of Black love, Black unity and the Black family. I don't care why White men are not marrying Black women. Contrary to the sensationalized media The US Census speaks for itself. Also I can say personally I don't know any Black/White interracial couples personally and I know many married couples. In fact just this year I witness many weddings among my friends and family that were between Black men and Black women. So again why should I be concerned with such a small group of people?

I am with a white man right now and I think its because of what the racial poster just said, that they think we are all uneducated, ghetto and have attitudes, but once they get over the fact that everything thier parents taught them is not true all the time, they usually have fun with us and understand that whatever you give to the relationship, we are going to give back tenfold. But I also think most mature sane women are like that. Other reasons include that because of thier racial inexperience, they think there is some special way to talk to us and approach us and communicate with us. There isn't ,by the way white guys, we just like an honest guy. And not all of us want money, after all most black woman are working since it has been shown that we are overwhelmingly the ones providing for our families. I have never asked my man for anything. Hello!! LOL

BTW, my man think that I am the absolute BEST woman he's ever been with and I don't think its because I am black I think its because I am a good woman who takes fantastic care of him and he returns the favor everyday.

I love women of all races and I am white too, but most men dont know the women like them and generally make the first move to find out. And let me state that a strong black woman can be a bit intimidating at first.
We love you sexy black ladies also

I think it may be because of the different cultures.

The black culture is more defensive, be tough, everyone looks out for themselves, insults are a form of joking and almost required.

where as the white culture is almost opposite, (in general).

I think it is just a misunderstanding.

The cultural gulf, though sometimes only supposed, is intimidating. We should all be able to just talk to each other, and not worry whether or not someone will go for our color or not.
