My Mom's very liberal. So much so that she decided it was OK to leave when I was 7 (the youngest) and 'find herself'. She managed to marry a man who had 3 previous marriages and could not support herself otherwise.
Her parents smoked and drank. And my grandmother died an alchololic. That's got a lot to do with it, no doubt.

They begin to think about the big picture. It costs $30,000 a year to house one person in prison. But you can house and feed a poor family for just pennies a day (according to the Christian Children's Fund). So you do the math, is it more cost effective to be proactive and spend a few pennies a day on each poor person, or to let them starve so they have to commit crimes, then put them in prison?
Listen, you have been totally snowed by Rush limbaugh and other liars, paid to trick you into voting republican. Republicans NEED to trick people into voting for them because this is a democracy and their policies only benefit the top 1% of the people. Clinton reformed wellfare and this nation had incredible prosperity. The socialism scare tactic is BS put forth by the same people who brought you "global warming is a lie". Last week, the scientists of the world issued a statement saying once and for all, that global warming is happening and humans are contributing to it. THAT means that Rush, Sean, Bill, Fox News, etc have been LYING TO YOU ABOUT THAT.
Why? So big businesses like ExxonMobile could generate RECORD profits. Last quarter ExxonMobile recorded the largest single quarter profit in history. Follow the money! See who profits.
I'll summarize for you: There is no excuse, fiscal, foriegn policy, social for anyone who is not a CEO to ever support the Republican party again. (And stop buying Ann Coulter's books. She's one of the liars too.)

The answer is BIG GOVERNMENT. They consider this to the the beginning and end of everything social or civil or governmental. They have been feeding at the trough so long that they cannot envision doing it any other way.
They are backers of the "spend now, pay later" democrats. They want nothing more than to sit back and have the government take care of them, cradle to the grave.
They depend on the redistribution of wealth for their sustenance. They depend on the working stiffs to provide the wherewithal to keep them in the necessities of life, as well as most of the goodies hard working people must earn for themselves.

Socialist traitors? Where are liberal socialist traitors, I don't see any. I see people who disagree with elitist big business run government. Usually it's caused by something like:
Their job gets outsourced to a slave wage country or under paid scab company by corporate conglomerate neocons. The stress of having to provide for their families without a decent source of income impacts negatively on them as individuals. They don't have the luxury of sitting in front of a computer spouting off neo-conservative drivel, they have to find a way to pay the electric bill.

Well, of course your question is entirely invalid. It's prefaced on a whole bunch of false assumptions and characterizations.
What you're doing is venting. You're making a comment about Liberals generally, and it's a foolish comment.
You may get a lot of knee-jerk responses to this by people who are either offended or others who are simply quick to jump on your bandwagon, but you'll discover little of substance. But then, you're not actually trying to learn anything here, right?
You're just spewing for the sake of making yourself feel better. That might work for you, for a while, but it's not responsible. You're just contributing further to the problems.

Well if you had common sense or reasoning abilities you would see that America is rather socialist itself. We have a social welfare program, unemployment, scholarships and grants, there are all sorts of ways that america is somewhat socialist, so I wouldn't call any socialist a traitor.

Many are God-fearing, American patriots who only want what is best for this nation....not to cower before trite, hate-filled rhetoric as is evident in your question. Liberals come from broken homes. They lacked a father figure around, and that explains both: their hatred of authority and their effeminate tendencies.
